HDFC Library

The HDFC Library at Ashoka University is not only a key resource for students' learning but also plays a crucial role in supporting academic research. With its extensive collection of both traditional and digital resources, the library provides researchers with access to a wide array of scholarly journals, databases, e-books, and research materials.

The library’s infrastructure includes advanced search tools and discovery systems, making it easy for researchers to locate the latest publications, data, and references relevant to their work. Whether a researcher is conducting literature reviews, gathering data, or staying updated on recent advancements in their field, the library ensures they have the resources necessary for high-quality research. Additionally, the library offers support through research workshops, training sessions on research tools, and personalized assistance in navigating complex research databases.

About the RESCOMM

In today's digital age, effective research communication is crucial for ensuring that research reaches its intended audience. Research institutions, universities, and organizations are increasingly relying on communication units to amplify their voices amid the information overload. The relationship between researchers and communicators is key in this process. When communicators are involved early, they can help craft compelling stories, make research more accessible, and ensure that complex ideas are communicated without losing their essence.

Training researchers in communication skills, especially for media engagement, is also essential for presenting research effectively. This is particularly relevant in countries like India, where scholarly output is rapidly increasing, and the need for effective research communication is growing.

To bridge the gap between research and communication, we are organizing the "Research Communication Conclave: Bringing Research into Action" This event will bring together researchers and communicators from both humanities and sciences to explore strategies for making research more accessible, engaging, and impactful.

Why this Conclave is Unique?

Research Communication both in the field of Scientific and Social Science Communication.
